Due to the quickly changing information concerning COVID-19, our commitment to our campers is to keep you as informed as we possibly can. Stayner Camp is receiving current information from public health authorities, provincial and federal government and will make adjustments as additional COVID-19 information is provided.

Because camp happens in close communities, we take care to develop and maintain disease management practices to address a variety of communicable diseases. Our health unit monitors our policies and checks our facility. We believe that prevention is one of the best lines of defense and regularly remind our young campers of the importance of good hygiene and sanitation practices. Wash your hands with soap and water!

Effective immediately, March 28, 2020, Stayner Camp is closed.  All current and near-future events have been cancelled.  However, we are happy to receive HOTM registrations and Family camp reservations.  In order to accommodate the concerns of families, our payment timeline has changed, which is explained with your invoice.  Be assured that if a week of camp has to be cancelled due to the duration of COVID-19 and the restrictions on gatherings, a full refund will be issued.

Families of registered campers will be updated with any changes or new information. In the meantime, if you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us by email at: [email protected].

Please stay home.  Let’s all respect the directives of our health units and government. Together we can do this.

  1. We understand the necessity to close programs at the campground due to the covid 19 pandemic.
Since the staff have been laid off for now, we are wondering this. Our trailer is in the tabernacle storage, who will be responsible for bringing it out of the building?

    1. Hey, thanks for you question. We are still working out the best plan going forward for seasonal trailer and cottage use. We are having ongoing discussions and will let all trailer owners know as soon as we have an answer for you. We are grateful for your patience!
