Stayner Family Camp: Bringing Families and Friends Together

For generations, families and friends have come together at Stayner Camp.  Invest in strengthening your family on a foundation of faith through Stayner Family Camping.  With things to do for all ages, plenty of time for relaxing and visiting, plus the joy of growing together in faith, Stayner continues to be an anchor in countless lives.

This summer, things will likely look very different than they usually do.  Projections coming from the Simcoe County Health Unit and the Ontario government are telling us that most likely, we’re looking at a very similar summer to 2020.  Our regular Family Camp program will not be running, however, we are anticipating that camping and rentals of cabins and lodge rooms will be available throughout the summer.  We hope to find ways to connect through the summer as a camp community, and are hopeful that we might be able to run some simplified programming and activities, and be able to have speakers and worship time during what would have been our family camp weeks, all within COVID guidelines of course.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility on these uncertain times.

Where to Stay

There are options for where to stay during family camp.  Two housekeeping cottages are available, but keep in mind, they’re first come first serve!  Bring a tent or trailer and choose from one of our numerous available campsites serviced with hydro and water.   We also have several rustic cabins with 4 bunks in each.  Guests staying in cabins or at campsites have the option of outdoor cooking (many campers bring a dining tent), or enjoying delicious meals served from our dining hall (see below).  You may also choose to enjoy the convenience of a fully furnished Lodge room, or keep an eye on our classifieds for any cottages or trailers available for rent.

There will not be any food service from our kitchen this summer. Campers are welcome to set up cooking outside.  Many campers bring dining tents and camping stoves, and picnic tables are available.

Refund Policy

If a cancellation is made, you can be refunded the amount (less $100) up until 1 week prior to the start date of the family camp you have registered to attend.  Under 1 week’s notice will result in NO REFUND.  Shortening your stay when you arrive at camp will not result in a refund for the days not on site.
