Stayner Family Camp: Bringing Families and Friends Together

Reconnect with your family while taking advantage of programming geared toward all ages. Invest your vacation time in strengthening your family on a foundation of faith through Evergreen Christian Ministries’ Family Camps. For generations, families and friends have come together at Stayner Camp. With programming for all ages and plenty of time for relaxing and visiting, plus the joy of growing together in faith, Stayner has been an anchor in countless lives.

Why come to Stayner Family Camp?

The 15 days of Family Camp are programmed with 3 distinct segments. Be sure to stop by the office at the beginning of your stay for a program guide filling you in on everything that is on the calendar.

Daily sessions in the tabernacle are at 10 AM and 7 PM.  Chapel speakers will engage your mind, stir your heart and challenge your faith.   If you live locally you are invited to join us for any of our chapel sessions.

A children’s program headed up by Kingdom Kids occurs during the AM and PM services.  The nursery is open for the 0 to 4 year olds during the morning service. A Youth program runs daily.

Our “Café Under the Stars” is a late-evening musical treat.  Concerts each Saturday evening feature Southern Gospel, Worship Bands, Solo Artists, and up and coming musicians.  Ice Cream is served each evening after chapel.  Wagon rides, Movie Nights with popcorn to munch on, Waffle Night, Cinnamon Bun Saturdays and a myriad of other events during the 15 days offer opportunities to be as busy as you want.  The campfire is a favourite place to unwind after a full day.

Family Camp depends on donations to keep our programs running, so each evening session will offer an opportunity to give.  Some special events have a modest charge of $2 or more.

Where to Stay

There are options for where to stay during family camp.  Two housekeeping cottages are available, but keep in mind, they’re first come first serve!  Bring a tent or trailer and choose from one of our numerous available campsites serviced with hydro and water.   We also have several rustic cabins with 4 bunks in each.  Guests staying in cabins or at campsites have the option of outdoor cooking (many campers bring a dining tent), or enjoying delicious meals served from our dining hall (see below).  You may also choose to enjoy the convenience of a fully furnished Lodge room, or keep an eye on our classifieds for any cottages or trailers available for rent.
