Activities For Seniors Coordinator

For over a century, Stayner Camp has welcomed families and individuals to rest, grow, and belong. As we strengthen our commitment to age-friendly community life, we are seeking a warm, creative, and organized Age-Friendly Programming Coordinator to lead engaging summer activities for adults aged 55+.

This role will shape the rhythm of our summer season—bringing connection, joy, and meaningful experiences to the older adult community that is at the heart of our camp culture.

Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will capture the energy, excitement, and community life of Stayner Camp throughout the summer. This role is perfect for a student studying photography, videography, digital marketing, media production, or communications who wants hands-on experience building and executing a social media strategy.

You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across our platforms to grow engagement, highlight camp experiences, and support both promotional and storytelling goals.

Administrative Assistant

The Office Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our summer camp. This position ensures the camp office runs smoothly, effectively manages communication, and provides administrative support to staff, parents, and campers. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Landscape Labourer (minimum age 16)

The Landscape Labourer plays a key role in creating and maintaining a healthy, beautiful, and sustainable outdoor environment throughout the camp property. This position focuses heavily on tree planting, tree care, ecological garden development, and ongoing grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on outdoor work, respects natural ecosystems, and contributes to making camp a safe and inspiring place for campers and staff.

Tuck Shop Manager

The Tuck Shop Manager is responsible for the daily operation, financial accuracy, and guest experience of the Stayner Camp Tuck Shop. This role oversees product inventory, cash handling processes, merchandising, and the training and leadership of staff and volunteers. The Tuck Shop Manager ensures the shop operates smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with ECM Camps’ values of hospitality and service.

Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Food Services Worker to join our team. This role supports daily kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and maintaining a clean and safe food service environment. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a team setting, and is committed to providing high-quality service.

Campground Maintenance Worker (minimum age 16)

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the overall upkeep, repair, and cleanliness of the facility and surrounding grounds. This role ensures that buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas are well-maintained, safe, and operational. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and able to perform a variety of hands-on tasks both indoors and outdoors.
