We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Part-Time Office Administrator

Stayner Camp is looking for a dependable, organized, and welcoming Part-Time Office Administrator to support the day-to-day office and guest-service needs of the camp.

Working closely with the Managing Director, this role will serve as a primary point of contact for guests, handling phone calls, reception, check-ins and check-outs, reservations, payments, records, and general office administration. The position will also assist with social media, advertising, communications, and guest hospitality, as well as helping with other camp needs such as kitchen, maintenance, or setup when required.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, attend an Evangelical church, have strong organizational and communication skills, be comfortable learning office and reservation software, and enjoy creating a warm, Christ-centred experience for guests.

Details:

  • Part-time, approximately 6–12 hours/week
  • Additional hours may be available May–October
  • $18.50–$20.50/hour
  • Occasional evenings and weekends may be required

Family Camp Programming Director

Stayner Camp is looking for a creative, organized, and mature follower of Christ to lead the planning and coordination of Family Camp programming.

Working closely with the Managing Director and other ministry coordinators, this role will oversee the overall Family Camp schedule and programming, including speakers, worship leaders and musicians, special events, youth programming, and seniors programming. The Programming Director will help ensure that all areas of Family Camp work together to create a welcoming, Christ-centred, intergenerational experience.

The role also includes recruiting and coordinating volunteers and program leaders, assisting with promotion and communications, managing programming within an approved budget, and providing hands-on leadership throughout Family Camp. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with staff, volunteers, ministry leaders, and guests, and able to adapt as plans and needs change.

Details:

  • Part-time, approximately 250 hours annually
  • Approximately 2 hours/week during the planning period
  • Full-time/on-site leadership required July 24–August 8, 2027
  • $19.50–$25.00/hour
  • Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ontario Police Record Check required
  • Experience in Christian camping, church ministry, event programming, youth or seniors ministry is an asset
