Food Services Worker

Location: 240 Scott Street, Stayner ON
Job Type:  Part-Time
Start Date: April 1, 2026
Reports to: Food Services Manager / Head Cook

Join Our Camp Kitchen Team!

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Food Services Workers to help support our busy camp kitchen. In this role, you’ll help prepare and serve nutritious meals that keep campers and staff energized for a full day of activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with basic food preparation such as washing, chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients

  • Help serve meals to campers and staff in a friendly and efficient manner

  • Maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

  • Follow safe food handling and sanitation standards

  • Help with receiving and organizing food deliveries

  • Restock supplies and support kitchen staff during meal service

  • Work as part of a team to ensure meals are served on time and with care

What We’re Looking For

  • A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain food safety standards

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting when needed

  • Previous kitchen or food service experience is an asset, but not required

  • Food Handler Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)

Food Services Supervisor

Location: 240 Scott Street, Stayner ON
Job Type: Seasonal / Contract May – October 2026
Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
Hours: 12-25 hours per week (evenings and weekends as required)

Now Hiring: Food Services Supervisor

Do you enjoy leading a kitchen team and preparing meals for large groups? We are seeking a Food Services Supervisor to oversee meal planning, food preparation, and service for guest groups ranging from 15 to 300 people. This role combines hands-on kitchen leadership with menu planning, food safety, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Plan menus and coordinate food preparation and service for groups of 15–300 guests

  • Supervise kitchen staff and volunteers during meal preparation and service

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

  • Prepare and serve meals while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation

  • Accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies

  • Manage food inventory, place orders, and minimize waste

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area

Requirements

  • Experience in food service, catering, or kitchen supervision

  • Knowledge of food safety and allergy awareness practices

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Work Environment

  • Commercial kitchen and dining hall serving guest groups of varying sizes

  • Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs

  • Team-oriented hospitality environment
