OASIS (Older Adults Still In Service), offers two great events at Stayner Camp:  The 5-Day Golden Getaway, and OASIS Day at Family Camp!

OASIS Golden Getaway

The Golden Getaway is a 5 day camp for those 55+. A week of fun, friends and fellowship!

Join us for five refreshing days of inspiring teaching by Clayton and Amylynn Culham, meaningful fellowship, and delicious meals in a beautiful setting of Stayner Camp!

OASIS Day at Family Camp

July 27, 2026

Join us for a special day filled with music, friendship, great food, and time together.

We’ll begin with a roast beef dinner at 12:30 p.m., followed by an uplifting afternoon concert featuring congregational singing of favourite hymns and sacred songs. After a BBQ supper, the day wraps up with an evening concert to close things out on a high note.

We’d love to have you be part of it.

12:30 PM – Roast Beef Lunch ($28)

2:30 PM – Carrie Guse

Follower of Jesus, wife, mother, singer, morning show radio host for Faith FM, community engagement coordinator for Food4Kids WR, and bargain hunter.  She has spent over two decades serving congregations creatively as a Worship Pastor and Artistic Director. Carrie also spent many years teaching Kindermusik and music at a private school. She is passionate about building relationships and making a difference in her community. Carrie loves to spend time 2with her husband and family and their French Bulldog Henry. She cheers loudly at hockey games and oh yeah, did we say it? Carrie loves to find a good bargain.

5:30 PM – Pulled Pork Supper ($21)

7:00 PM – Mission Hill Quartet

Formed by four longtime friends: Ken Harnden, Dana Osburn, David Hill, and Paul Hill—our journey began in 2023 during the 125th anniversary celebration of the Picton Free Methodist Church. The joy of singing together inspired us to create this quartet, where we share our passion for music and friendship. Join us as we harmonize our way through life, Singing the Sweetest Songs We Know!
