The Golden Getaway is a 5 day camp for those 55+.  A week of fun, friends and fellowship!

Craig & Stacy Wilson

Morning & Evening Session Speakers

Craig and Stacy have been passionately serving in ministry since 2002, when they arrived at Life Church with four young children and a deep desire to see their community experience the love of Jesus. Over the years, their family grew to five, and by God’s grace, their children have become passionate followers of Christ. They have been blessed to witness many come to faith, be baptized, and continue their spiritual journey. Their greatest desire is to see the next generation fully alive in Christ and equipped to make a lasting impact.

While their ideas of quality time differ—Stacy enjoys tea and conversation, while Craig prefers hands-on projects—they share a love for learning and discovering God’s truth through Scripture, prayer, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Their ministry is anchored in Ephesians 4:12-13: “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Julia Maier

Life through a spiritual lens using beautiful photography

Tuesday @ 2PM

Julia Maier has a gift. She has the ability to see what other people don’t see. She has the ability to capture an experience, a moment, a shared glance with intimacy and intrigue. Through the lens of a camera, she paints a portrait detailing the intricacies and beauty of human life and relationship – the hardships, the joys, the evolving stories of a person, a couple, a family. To be photographed by Julia is to receive a gift. Her vivacious spirit and passion for artistry flow through each and every picture she designs.

The Vicounts

Wednesday @ 7PM

Since their founding in 1972, this Ontario-based group has performed across Central and Eastern Canada and the Northern U.S., bringing their uplifting music to fairs, community events, churches, and even Canada’s Wonderland theme park. Their television appearances include Huntley Street, Hisey House of Song, and Gospel Singin’ Time on the Global TV Network. Wherever they go, The Vicounts are passionate about sharing their music and ministry.

Committed to promoting Canadian gospel music, three of their members have served as directors of the Canadian Gospel Music Association. Over the years, The Vicounts have recorded 20 projects, earned numerous awards, and, most importantly, witnessed many lives changed through their message. The group has been blessed to work with some of the finest vocalists, pianists, and musicians in Canadian gospel music—each bringing unique talent, training, and a heart for ministry.

OASIS Day at Family Camp

July 28, 2025

Join us for a special day of music, friendship, fun, and delicious food!

12:00 PM: Roast Beef Lunch

2:00 PM: Dave & Nancy Seiling

Get ready for an afternoon of music, laughter, and delightful surprises! At 2 p.m., Dave & Nancy Seiling take the stage, bringing their signature blend of music and comedy. Don’t miss this entertaining performance packed with fun and heart!

2:00 PM: The Watchmen

The Watchmen began their ministry in 1968 as a group of friends entering a talent contest sponsored by Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener, Ontario. After winning the competition, they quickly found themselves in demand—and the journey began.

For over 56 years, The Watchmen have traveled extensively across southern Ontario, with performances in the U.S. and even aboard a gospel music cruise. Their dedication to sharing gospel music has earned them numerous accolades from the Canadian Gospel Music Association (CGMA), including awards for Top Male Quartet, Top Musician, and Top Soloist.

Beyond the music, The Watchmen are deeply grateful for the fellowship, safe travels, and joyful moments they’ve shared. Most importantly, they cherish the opportunities where the Holy Spirit has transformed their efforts into life-changing ministry. Their mission remains the same: to serve the Lord first and foremost while offering uplifting Christian entertainment to all who listen.

5:00 PM: Pulled Pork Supper

7:00 PM: Michael Booth

Michael David Booth grew up surrounded by Southern Gospel music, inspired by his dad’s group and their stories. He became a born-again Christian at seven and developed a love for music, first as a drummer—banging on his mom’s pots and pans—before earning a jazz scholarship in high school.

Though drumming came naturally, singing took time. With practice and a passion for ministry, he overcame his fears and became the skilled vocalist he is today.

As part of The Booth Brothers, Michael has shared the stage with top artists through the Gaither Homecoming and their own concert tours. In addition to singing tenor and emceeing for the group, he has built a solo career, releasing projects like Dear Yesterday, featuring songs such as This Side of Heaven and Glorious Unfolding.
